Professors in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences conduct research individually or in small groups. They address a wide range of topics in humanities research, social sciences research, and/or interdisciplinary research that integrates a number of different fields of specialization. These professors gain recognition in their own academic circles as well as in broader society, and this is accompanied by the expectation of still greater results.
