The Community Affairs Office was founded by Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2006 to promote international exchanges and community affairs. Starting from 2008, the Center for International and Comparative Approaches to Japan Studies will take over international activities and our office will focus on community affairs. It seeks to develop large-scale projects for local innovations.
Our objectives are:
- To further develop Tsukuba Mountain Renaissance Project.
- To support Tsukuba Eco-city Initiative.
- To contribute to our host community via open college programs.
- To promote renovation of our host community.
