Graduate Program in Economics English Track (GPEET) is an English-taught graduate program in Economics at the University of Tsukuba, launched in 2011. Since 1995, our English-track economics faculty has been offering an English-taught graduate program as part of Program in Economic and Public Policy Management (PEPPM). PEPPM is the oldest Partner Program in Japan of the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program, a large scholarship program for young professionals from developing counties funded by the Government of Japan and managed by the World Bank Institute in Washington, D.C. GPEET opens the door for our high-quality economics program to all English-speaking students regardless of nationality, including Japanese.
